Momming with Grace Ministries was born from a simple but powerful question:
“I’m keeping the baby… now what?”
Because choosing life is often only the beginning.
Behind that question are a hundred others:
Who helps when life falls apart?
Who teaches what no one ever modeled?
Who shows up when the fear settles in?
Who reminds her that God has not forgotten her?
That is the gap we step into.
We walk with moms through the hard realities of life.
With mentorship, biblical encouragement, practical guidance, and Christ-centered community.
Not just for a moment. For the long haul.
Every mom deserves to know she is: Seen. Loved. Valued.
Not only by us, but by her Savior.

Momming with Grace Ministries walks alongside under-resourced moms through Christ-centered mentorship, practical support, life skills, and authentic community.
We help moms move from survival to stability—
and from isolation to hope in Christ.

Encourage moms to depend on Jesus Christ for strength and provision, and pursue His will for their lives.

Challenge each mom to own her growth and work wholeheartedly, as unto the Lord.

COMMUNITY
Cultivate strong, Christ-centered relationships where moms walk together in truth, love, and accountability.
”And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25

Patiently partner with moms who are engaging in biblical learning, welcome wise counsel, embrace growth, and are active in their local church community.

Cathy Hennessy
Cathy Hennessy serves as the Executive Director of Momming with Grace Ministries, where she combines decades of leadership, training, and operational experience with a passion for serving women and families.
Throughout her career, she led high-performing teams, managed training and quality assurance initiatives, and helped organizations achieve growth through strategic planning and servant leadership.
Drawing from her own experience as a young single mother, Cathy felt called by Christ to encourage, mentor, and uplift women walking through difficult seasons. Through Momming with Grace Ministries, she is dedicated to helping under-resourced mothers find stability, strengthen their faith, and build lives rooted in hope, purpose, and grace.
Cathy is passionate about helping women discover the abundant life found through a relationship with Jesus Christ and the power of a supportive, faith-filled community.
CHRIS DAUNHAUER
Chris is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and fee-only fiduciary with TrustWell in Jacksonville, Florida. Since 2004, he has helped individuals and families faithfully steward their finances with wisdom and purpose. He also serves as a money coach for Compass Financial, where he is passionate about helping people gain clarity, create margin, and make sound financial decisions.
In 2025, Chris completed the Colson Fellows Program, an intensive discipleship program that equips Christians to engage today’s culture through a biblical worldview and live faithfully within their God-given calling. Through that experience, Chris felt the Lord leading him to use his financial expertise to serve moms struggling to make ends meet.
Soon after, he joined the Momming with Grace Ministries Board of Directors and helped lead a Compass study for moms called Making Ends Meet. As Chris says, his goal is “to help friends and clients figure out what’s important, and to help them know more so they can do better.” Today, he is honored to help Momming with Grace moms do exactly that.
ERICA TORRES
Erica MSN, RN is a devoted wife, mother to two amazing young men, and a committed follower of Christ. With over 25 years of experience in healthcare, she has dedicated her career to serving others with compassion and excellence.
Beyond her professional role, Erica is deeply passionate about Momming with Grace Ministries, and its focus on empowering women and families through faith-based support. She firmly believes that every mother deserves hope, grace, and practical tools to build a lasting legacy of faith.
Erica’s journey is one of perseverance and grace. Beginning at 19 as a single mother, she overcame significant challenges through faith, family, and Christ-centered mentorship.
She credits those who invested time to guide her in decision-making and spiritual growth as instrumental in shaping the person she is today.
Her life mission is to walk in grace, lead with compassion, and inspire others to do the same.
